Affected Software/OS: irssi on Debian Linux Solution: For the oldstable distribution (jessie), these problems have been fixed in version 0.8.17-1+deb8u5. For the stable distribution (stretch), these problems have been fixed in version 1.0.2-1+deb9u3. CVE-2017-10965 and CVE-2017-10966 were already fixed in an earlier point release.
