Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to a boundary error in the 'WWWLaunchNetscape' function in the file wwwlink.api. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation will allow attacker to execute arbitrary code. Affected Software/OS: Adobe Reader version 5.0.5, 5.0.6, 5.0.7 and probably other versions on Linux. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
