Vulnerability Insight: The flaw is due to an error when processing web requests and can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long string passed in a HEAD or GET request. Vulnerability Impact: Successful exploitation may allow remote attackers to cause the application to crash, creating a denial-of-service condition. Affected Software/OS: Kolibri webserver version 2.0. Solution: No known solution was made available for at least one year since the disclosure of this vulnerability. Likely none will be provided anymore. General solution options are to upgrade to a newer release, disable respective features, remove the product or replace the product by another one.
